The Draper Temple

Today my family and I were able to go to the Draper Temple Open House! It was such a wonderful experience. We went to one of the churches near by and then we got on a bus and traveled to the temple site. There were so many people there and also a lot of children that were able to go. Our tour seemed to end so quickly which was sad because I love the peace I feel when I am there.
I am so grateful that we had an opportunity to go and be a part of such a amazing event!

New Years Eve!

This year for New Years Eve I went to the Rice Ecles Stadium for a New Years Bash! It was tons of fun! Here is a picture with one of my friends from the night!

Lagoon

Well I worked at this place for part of the summer and some of my friends went there for Frightmares. I am really scared of heights and my friends wanted to go on the Skycoaster. If you know anything about this ride, it is really high up. It pulls you with a cable up over 150ft and then someone has to pull the rip cord after hanging in the air for what seems like forever. Then you fall at 50-80mph and it looks like you will hit the ground. Not my idea of fun. After a lot of coaxing from my friends I agreed to ride. I wanted to back out if it several times. I was put in a harness and pulled up with 2 of my friends. I closed my eyes and realized it wasn't so bad. It was so much fun! I would do it again. I felt like I was flying. Here is a pic of what it looks like. Its a huge arch and the cables are attached to that and you

Too bad I didn't get a pic of me on it.

Pioneer Trek

My singles ward went on a pioneer trek last weekend. We pulled hardcarts, walked through mud and 2 creeks. We had really good food that our friend Dave made in dutch ovens. We sang songs, played pioneer games, and had a water fight too! The womans' pull was really hard and I was so tired. It was a great experience! Here are some pics of our trip.

Don't I look like Laura Ingalls?

It was so hot, Jason needed a shower!
