Thanksgivng

I had so much fun for Thanksgiving.

I went with my parents, Michael, Laurie, Tom and little Liam to Sante Fe , NM to visit my aunt and uncle who live there. We had lots of turkey (they made 2) They cooked one of the turkeys on the barbeque and then some beef in a pit in their backyard! (YUMMY)

Then at one point Laurie and I drove to the yellow jeep they have around there property late at night and ran out of gas, so we had to walk back to their house in the dark.

By the time we got back we were freezing(it had snowed the night before) and our shoes were muddy. My aunt had mentioned earlier that there were mountain lions around and to make sure the dog "Copper" was with us. The dog left us alone that night as we continued to yell his name.

Needless to say we had a fun trip. Here are a few photos of some of my cousins that were with us.

Memories of Thanksgiving

I love Thanksgiving, and its coming soon!


When I was little my sister and I used to get all dressed up in new dresses and drive an hour (4 freeways) to my grandmas house. We would scream "I see grandma's house!" when we drove up the hill to her house. I would get to see all my cousins,

pick lemons from the tree outside, make lemonade, and
draw names with my other cousins for Christmas.
It was so much FUN!

My Older Brothers

Well my sister Sarah said that I really need to update my blog. I do it when I get a chance.

Crazy September

My parents moved out of the house they have lived in for 15 years. It is kind of bitter sweet.

We packed up the final things late last night. A lot to go to the dump, some to DI and others to give away.

Everyone one of my siblings helped my parents in one way or another to help with this move.

My parents and Michael are living in a townhouse in Draper for a while ( at least till they find there dream home)

Ice Blocking

Tonight I went ice blocking with my singles ward. It was so much fun despite all the the bumps and bruises. I fell off many times with grass stains and a wet rear end. Noelle and I raced a few times and I think I won.

So if you are bored and want something fun to do and cheap.All you need is a block of ice, a towel, and hill full of grass. Weeeeeee!

Harry Potter

Well, I just finished reading Harry Potter book # 7. It was really good! J K Rowling did a great job wraping up that book and explaining mostly everything . I think that I am obsessed with it. I have seen all the movies that have been made, I have bought four of the movies and I have read all the books. I only own 2 of them so maybe I might not be that obsessed with Harry Potter. What do you think?

Camping

I went camping over the weekend with my family and it was really fun!

I don't remember were we went but it was about 40min from where Jeff and Lee live.

Jeff did most of the cooking and it was really good. He did a chicken pot pie in the dutch oven. Yummy!

He borrowed a camping trailer from a friend and we slept in that. It was pretty comfortable.

Then we went on a hike towards this waterfall. Then we swam in the nearby lake. It felt so good

because it was hot!

Swimming

Swimming is the best! The pool at my complex finally opened it has been closed all of June. I can't believe they waited so long because it has been so HOT here everyday. Now if you live close by come on over and swim anytime!

No my pool doesn't look like this! I wish it did because that looks really fun!

Moving

Well I moved into a new place with new roomate a short while ago. I really like it! Here are some photos of what it looks like. Also my new roomate is Noelle. Shes great! I have lived with her before, so their hasn't been much adjustment. We both like it here.

Birthdays

My birthday was on the 6th of May this year and it wasn't bad except for turning another year older.

My siblings along with their spouses had a little party for me, we played games ate a chicken appetizerthat may sister made, as well as ice cream pie, made with oreos. (I'm not much for cake)It was yummy.

My brother Michael took to see a play at the Desert Star. It was so funny!

For those who don't know what they do there, they take a current movie, tv show, or play and do a spoof on it!

La Caille

Earlier this week my friend who is a school teacher went to La Caille for a field trip. She teaches French so it gave the students an opportunity to be in a French restaurant and then we got to eat snails. yuck! They have really beautiful grounds there. For dessert we ate this banana fosters with vanilla ice cream. The sauce they put on it had Carmel and brandy in it. They lit it on fire and poured it over our ice cream. Yummy!

Everything was so fancy and elegant,and the students were all dressed up. Too bad we had to ride to and from in an old yucky yellow school bus.

My Sisters

I really love my sisters. Each one is very unique. All three are moms and they do a great job. I am able to spend time with them and their kids. I get to play, play, play, with all of them. I love it!

Scrubs

I work at a hospital in the XRAY department. There are so many strange people that come in. I can just say that one thing, that they are STRANGE. But the real reason I work at the hospital is so I wear SCRUBS (YEAH) everyday! I have 4 coordinating colors for work, mint green, beach sand brown, Navy and Cranberry! What other colors should I collect?
